Distance Education at KSU

Important Issues for Faculty and Academic Administrators

If you are developing a distance education program at KSU, be aware:

• There are reporting requirements to SACS when we move programs to new methods of delivery. These can kick in when 25% of a program is shifted to non-conventional or online classes.
• There are also reporting requirements to the University System of Georgia for any program available as distance education.
• Online Learning Services (OLS) is currently the designated organization at KSU for coordinating this, and Dr. Gary Lewis the KSU representative on the Regents Administrative Committee on Distance Education (RACDE)
