WebCT Student Management
As of the Fall semester of 2000, the Department of
Distributed Learning and Instructional Technology in cooperation
with Academic Computing Services will upload students registered
for your course throughout Registration and Drop/Add after you have
requested your WebCT course via the e-form at:
http://online.kennesaw.edu
under Faculty Resources.
The students will be assigned a single Global ID
for all of their WebCT courses, as will the Designers. You will
need to tell the students how to log on. To get a list of user
id's for the students in your class, go to the class in WebCT,
and:
1. Click on Manage Course in the navigation menu on
the left side
2. Click on Manage Students. This will display a list of students'
first and last names plus their Username, which is the user name
that they will need for logging in to the course. You can download
this list for printing by:
3. Selecting All on the page menu, so that all
students are displayed.
4. Clicking on the Download button to create a
local text file. Their INITIAL password is the same as their KSU
PIN number which is their 6 digit date of birth.
